DE FUNIAK SPRINGS — Andrew Thompson Sr., 85, died Friday night [April 18, 1959] at his residence at Dune Allen Beach.
He was a native of Keltingskow, Denmark. He had been a resident of the community for the past 45 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the grave in Thompson Cemetery.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Louise Jorgenson, Sycamore, Ill., Mr. Lucy Mae Woolery, Santa Rosa Beach, Mrs. Anna Mary Reel, West Plains, Mo., Mrs. Nellie A. Moll, Destin, Mrs. Bessie L. Raybon, Santa Rosa Beach and Mrs. Clara E. Germanese, Santa Rosa Beach; six sons, James William Thompson, Sundre, Alberta, Canada, Frank J, Thompson, Santa Rosa Beach. Fred J. Thompson, Apalachicola, Andrew Thompson Jr., Jacksonville, Harry H.Thompson, Santa Rosa Beach and George R.Thompson. Montrose, Mich.; 37 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
On Monday, prior to the funeral, the body will lie at the Germanese residence at Santa Rosa Beach.
