Barbara F. Myrah

Barbara F. Myrah, 80, of DeFuniak Springs passed away June 8, 2006 in Niceville, FL. She was born Nov. 29, 1925 in Pensacola, FL, to Leo and Janie Jones Folsom.

Myrah had been a resident of Walton County since 1978. She was Seventh Day Adventist by faith and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in DeFuniak Springs, FL. She worked as a health nurse at Walton County Health Department for over 15 years. She graduated from the Pensacola Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. She worked as a registered nurse until 1966.

Myrah was predeceased by her father and mother, her husband, James L. Myrah, son, Vincent Myrah, and daughter, Barbara Jayne Warpool.

Myrah is survived by her son, James L. Myrah and wife, Romana, of Minneapolis, MN; two daughters, Debra L. Gregg, of Gaskin, FL, and Tami Martina and husband, Douglas, of Gaskin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in DeFuniak Springs with Pastor Martin Fancher
officiating.
