“Captain” Carl Edward Brown, 55, entered into rest Aug. 24, 2006.
He was born Feb. 19, 1951, son of Carl and Elouise Brown.
Brown is survived by Cassandra Brown, mother of their only child, Victoria Brown Francisco; son-in-law, Jason Francisco; brother, Roy Allen Brown Sr.; sister, Brenda Brown; brother, Jimmy Ray Brown; nephews, Roy Allen Brown Jr., Russell Brown, Currie Brown, Justin Brown, and all of their children. He also left behind many cousins, distant relatives, and many dear friends.
Brown was a master mariner heavy tow pilot on the Mississippi River. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. The river, besides his “precious” daughter, was the love of his life, along with the music he played.
A time of visitation will be held from 6 – 7p.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home in Freeport, FL.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Louis Taunton officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
