Claude James Miller, 63, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at his residence. He was born in Welcome, NC, on June 21, 1943. He was a truck driver in the area for many years, and loved his NASCAR.
Miller will be missed by all his friends and family. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Garrett Miller, and family; daughters, Tammy Crawford, and family, Debbie and husband, Jim Shoun, and family; son, Rusty Scandrett, and family, and Scott and wife, Lorie Miller.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at the Calvary Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs, with Rev. Bill Stephens, officiating.
Burial will be in the Heritage Gardens Cemetery in Niceville, FL at a later date.
