Dale Evon (Vonnie) Smith, 48, DeFuniak Springs, Fla., formerly of Lancaster, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2000.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1951, in Parkersburg, W.Va. to Roy and Sylvia Beagle.
Vonnie is survived by her husband and soul-mate, James E Smith of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; stepdaughter Jamie (Paul) Smith; stepgrandchildren, Gray and Hannah Smith, all of Oklahoma City; mother-in-law Annabelle Linton of Lancaster; sister Delores (Gene) Scott of West Rushville; brothers, Roger (Mary Ann) Beagle of Elyria, Charley (Sarah Diaz) Beagle of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; aunt, Beatrice (Tim) Baker of Lancaster; brothers-in-law, David L. Brown and Roger (Sharon) Smith of Lancaster, and Lorn (Krickett) Linton of Lawton, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Ronald Beagle.
A memorial service will be held Saturday in Elyria, Ohio at the family’s convenience. Caring cremation has taken place.
