Dalton Wilburn Turbeville, 74, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away August 6, 2006, at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1931, in Graceville, FL, to the late Jesse Franklin and Allie Lou Atwell Turbeville.
Turbeville is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dalton Wilburn Turbeville Jr.; two brothers, Edward Turbeville and Ray Turbeville; one sister, Evelyn Patterson; two sons, Gerald Reynolds and wife, Teresa, of New Hope, FL and Walter Franklin Turbeville and wife, Melissa, of Bonifay, FL; three daughters, Patricia Thomas and husband, Chuck, of Bonifay, Cheryl Sober and husband, Dan, of Chipley, FL, and Eva Couch and husband, Terry, of Bonifay; two brothers, Howard Turbeville of Bonifay, Tom Turbeville and wife, Dorthy, of Crestview, FL; companion, Liza Nell Curry; three step-daughters, Patricia Witmer and husband, Lester, of Enterprise, AL, Misty Barnhill and husband, Tim, of DeFuniak Springs, and Mary Curry, of DeFuniak Springs; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006 at Peel Funeral Home Chapel in Bonifay with interment following at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Holmes County, FL, with Peel Funeral Home directing.
