Donnie Alford, 56, a retired construction engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation, and PBS&J, died Friday, August 18, 2006, in Crawfordville, FL. Alford is survived by his wife, Tara Morgan Alford, of Crawfordville.
Alford was born on October 13, 1949 in Florala, AL, and had lived in Crawfordville over 30 years. He Was a member of the Jackson Lodge No. 1 F&AM, and a member of Scottish Rite.
Survivors include his son, Bobby and wife, Kellie; his beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylee and Chase Alford, of Crawfordville; a sister, Nell Alford, of Opp, AL; two very special family members, Kenneth (Chocks) and Mary Treleven, of Vernon, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Evelyn Alford.
Services were held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Harvey-Young , Funeral Home, Crawfordville, with burial at Paxton Cemetery in Paxton, FL.
