James Allen Hamilton

Mr. James Allen Hamilton, age 50, of Freeport, Florida passed away January 13, 2008 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born December 4, 1957 in Monticello, Florida to Jacob and Dorothy Jackson Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton was Baptist by faith. He worked as a heavy equipment operator with Gator Boring in Pensacola, Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, which he also considered his family.

Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his father J.T. Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his mother Dot Hamilton of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; his wife Terri Hamilton of Freeport, Florida; two daughters Skylar and Suzanne Hamilton and one brother Carl Hamilton and wife Jenni all of Freeport, Florida; one sister Carol Terry and husband Michael of Panama City, Florida, also survived by one niece Leah Dionne; three nephews Thomas Cook, Carl Hamilton Jr. and Chris Hamilton.

A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Monday, January 14, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverends Joel Glenn and Phil McMillian officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cluster Springs Cemetery in Liberty, Florida.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers are as follows Willie Huckabee, Leve Dumas, L.D. Marlow, Truman Myers, Willie Saucier and Leo Wilson.
