Mr. James “Jimmy” Robinson, age 49, of DeFuniak Springs passed away August 1, 2007. He was born February 7, 1958 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida to J.D. and Mary McHenry Robinson.
Jimmy Robinson had lived most of his life in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially cooking for and spoiling his nieces and nephews. He worked with Badcock, delivering furniture for over 10 years.
Jimmy Robinson was preceded in death by his father and mother and one brother-in-law Leonard Sternick.
Jimmy Robinson is survived by his two brothers Terry J. Robinson and wife Patricia and Earl Robinson and wife Judy all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; four sisters Brenda Wilkinson and husband Ronnie of Columbus, Georgia, Janice Sternick of Columbus, Georgia, Gloria Durden and husband Bill of Macon, Georgia and Margaret Ramos and husband Nick of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Euchee Valley Cemetery, with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating. Memorialization will be by direct cremation with Clary-Glenn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
