Jeffery Wayne Harrison

Jeffery “Jeff” Wayne Harrison, 36, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Sept. 13, 2006 in Niceville, FL. He was born July 24, 1970 in Orlando, FL to Glen Harrison Sr. and Jacqueline Dettling Harrison.

Harrison had been a life-long resident of Walton County. He was Pentecostal by faith and a member of the First Apostolic Church in DeFuniak Springs. He loved football and was an avid Florida Gators football fan. He also loved hunting and was known as an avid outdoorsman.

Harrison was predeceased by his father, Glen Harold Harrison Sr., paternal grandfather, William Calvin Harrison, and maternal grandparents, Rayburn and Gertrude Dettling.

Harrison is survived by his wife, Jennifer Harrison, of DeFuniak Springs; two daughters, Marissa and Lia Harrison, both of DeFuniak Springs; his mother, Jackie Harrison Frederick, of DeFuniak Springs; grandmother, Donna Harrison, of Hernando, FL; three brothers, Glen Harrison Jr. and wife, Mary Rae, and John Scott and wife, April, all of DeFuniak Springs, and Donald Scott of Trussville, AL; four sisters, Jennie Jones and husband, Tom, of Orlando, FL, Tammy Free and husband, Johnny, of Ponce de Leon, FL, Debbie Adkinson, of DeFuniak Springs, and Cathy Powers, of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at First Apostolic Church in DeFuniak Springs, with Rev. David King and Rev. Jason Campbell officiating.

Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery.
