Lewie Wyndol King

Lewie Wyndol King, 69, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away Dec. 12, 2006. He was born Jan. 2, 1937 in DeFuniak Springs to Bill and Pearl Davidson King.

King had been a lifelong resident of Walton County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

King was predeceased by his father and mother, and brother, Gordon Buford.

King is survived by his wife, Carolyn King; two daughters, Connie King and Carol Rothgeb and husband, Rick, all of DeFuniak Springs; four sisters, Ilene Bell, Louise Darby, Joyce Slay and Dorothy Edge, and two grandchildren, Cody and Colby Rothgeb, all of DeFuniak Springs.

Funeral services were conducted at 10a.m., Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl Hall officiating.

Burial followed in Alaqua Methodist Church Cemetery.
