Logan Alford, age 17, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away June 23, 2008. He was born November 17, 1990, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to Lewis and Lynette Lindsey Alford.
Logan had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Southwide Baptist Church. He was a Senior at Walton High School where he played for the football team, having lettered in football. Logan’s goal was to break his brother Lucas’ football records at Walton High School. He loved hunting, fishing and driving his red 1953 GMC pickup truck.
Logan is preceded in death by his brother Lucas Tyler Alford, maternal grandfather Jerry Lindsey and paternal grandmother Linda Grace Caswell.
Logan is survived by his father and mother Lewis and Lynette Alford of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, two sisters Lyndsie Brooke Allen and husband Rodney, Lauren Rachel Alford, maternal grandma Ethelene Lindsey and paternal grandparents Amon and Shirley Alford all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, sister-in-law Mistie Alford, one niece Paige and one nephew Luke Alford all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 27, 2008, at First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs, with Reverend Lonnie Wright and Joel Glenn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Cemetery. Those asked to serve as pallbearers will be the Walton High School Football Team of 2008.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
