Madelene Gallup

Mrs. Madelene Gallup, age 86, of Portland, Florida passed away January 4, 2008. She was born January 22, 1921 in Freeport, Florida to Jesse and Alice Nelson Dickey.

Mrs. Gallup was a resident of Freeport for three years moving from California. She was Pentecostal by faith. She loved to have people visit her; she loved to paint, read and garden.

Mrs. Gallup is survived by her daughter Marilyn Glenn of Danville, California; brother Raymond Dickey of Mariana, Florida; nieces Frances Harvey of Pensacola, Florida and Geraldine Phillips of Portland, Florida, also survived by several other nieces and nephews; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held 10:00~11:00 AM, Monday, January 7, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20 Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Louis Tauton officiating.

Burial will held in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Lomita, California. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are as follows Tommy Godwin, Bruce Godwin, Dustin Godwin, Joshua Piasecki, Caleb Piasecki and Casey Piasecki. In lieu of flowers send contributions to Alzheimers Foundation.
