Marigail Langston Smoak

Mrs. Marigail Langston Smoak, age 82, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born May 1, 1934 in Bushnell, Florida to Montre and Mildred Smith Langston.

Mrs.  Smoak was a resident of Walton County. She was Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Bushnell, Florida. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Lacoochee, Florida and a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bushnell, Florida. She owned and operated Me Mama’s Restaurant in Lake Panasoffkee.

Mrs. Smoak was a native Sumter Countian and a fifth generation Floridian.

Mrs. Smoak is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Smoak is survived by her four sons George W. Fisel III, Dwayne Fisel and wife Star, Michael K. Cavin and David D. Mann all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, her brother Joe Langston and wife Dawn of Franklin, North Carolina, her two sisters Lovelda Harper of Franklin, North Carolina and Carrie Bible of St. Petersburg, also survived three grandchildren, Paula Fisel Floyd, Andrea Fisel and Dwayne “D.J. ” Fisel, Jr..

Visitation services will be held at  6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Visitation services will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Purcell  Funeral Home; 114 West Noble Avenue, Bushell, Florida 33513.

Graveside services will be held at held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 30, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

Floral arrangements are being accepted.
