Martha Elizabeth Wise McLeod

Mrs. Martha Elizabeth McCloud has been a sufferer for almost all of the past year. She had her third stroke last Friday evening and passed away peacefully without regaining consciousness. Her body was taken to Point Washington near Panama City where funeral services were held Monday and she was laid to rest by the side of her husband who preceded her several years ago. Her son, Cecil, and daughters Mrs. Havos Willis and Mrs. Maxie Robinson accompanied the body last Sunday afternoon to Point Washington. The sympathy of the entire community go out to them in the loss of their mother. 

Mrs. Martha Elizabeth McLeod, 76, passed away at her home in Wabasso last Friday night, following an illness of several months. Mrs. McLeod had been a resident of Wabasso for three years, coming from Point Washington, Fla.

The body was shipped to Point Washington for burial on Sunday afternoon. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Harvis Willis, Mrs. Maxie Robinson, Wabasso, and Mrs. Edna Hinote, Carryville, Fla.; a son, Cecil McLeod, Wabasso; a number of grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
