Minnie Bell Alberson

Mrs. Minnie Bell Alberson, 78, of Gaskin, died Sunday afternoon at a Geneva County, Alabama after a long illness.

Mrs. Alberson was a native of Walton County and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gaskin.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the South Baptist Church of Gaskin with the Rev. R. M. McDaniel and the Rev. William Aplin officiating.

Burial will be in the Gaskin Cemetery with [Comander] Funeral Home of DeFuniak Springs directing.

Survivors include two sons, Vernon Alberson of Gaskin and Hughey Alberson of Lakewood; three daughters, Mrs. Pearlie Mae Henderson of Florala, Ala., Mrs. Gladys Adams of DeFuniak Springs and Mrs. Estelle Simpler of Gaskin; two brothers, B. D. Alford of Ponce de Leon and L. G. Alford of Gaskin; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Warren, Mrs. Donnie Duke and Mrs. Kate Dean, all of Gaskin, and Mrs. Rose Duke of [Tallahassee]; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
