Pauline Smith Price

Mrs. Pauline S. Price, age 82, of Liberty, Florida passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008. She was born October 8, 1925 in Dale County, Alabama. She was born to Carlos C. and Lollie Walding Smith.

Mrs. Price had lived most of her life in Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Cluster Springs Baptist Church. She was an avid gardner and loved flowers. Mrs. Price also enjoyed fishing, quilting and putting together puzzles.

Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her father and mother, Carlos and Lollie Smith, her husband of 39 years Lance Price, two brothers, James and Paul Smith.

Mrs. Price is survived by her two sons, Carlos Price and wife Diane of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Jim Price and wife Yvonne of Greenville, Georgia; one daughter, Jackie Adkins and husband Tommie of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, one sister, Mary Sutton of Pensacola, Florida. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Christopher Adkins, Gretchen Adkins, Jason Price, Jennifer Churchwell, Jessica Pennington, Katherine Price and Lance Price, 3 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Georgianna, and Colton.

A time of visitation will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Chapel of Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at the Cluster Springs Baptist Church, with Reverends Tucker Aplin and Jerry Chumley officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Chris Adkins, Jason Price, Lance Price, David Churchwell, Zack Pennington and Craig Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be: Steve Price, Walker Price, Shawn Whitaker, and Ronnie Smith.

Floral arrangements are being accepted. Burial will follow in the Cluster Springs Cemetery. A special thanks to Covenant Hospice for their care and concern.
