Mr. Robin Wade Scott Adkison, age 40, of Freeport, Florida passed away March 10, 2008. He was born March 23, 1967, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to Glenn Elvis Tracy Adkison and Belita Gail Dunaway.
Mr. Adkison had been a resident of Freeport for the past four years, coming from Vail, Colorado. He was Baptist by faith. He loved the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing and camping.
Mr. Adkison was preceded in death by his mother, Belita Gail Dunaway.
Mr. Adkison is survived by his father and step-mother, Glenn E. and Terri Adkison of Milton, Florida, son, Jacob Daniel Adkison of Colorado and step-son, Jared Murphy also of Colorado. He is also survived by three brothers, Paul Hilbrant and wife Julie of Tallahassee, Florida; Brian Adkison and wife Kate of Panama City, Florida, and Doug Hilbrant of Milton, Florida; three sisters, Pam Adkison Brown and husband Joseph of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; Denise Mack and husband Kevin of Milton, Florida, and Jackie Kim Adkison Leamy and husband Walter of Bowie, Maryland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Phil McMillian officiating.
Burial will follow in the Black Creek Cemetery.
Those serving as pallbearers are as follows: Doug Hilbrant, Brian Adkison, Joseph Brown, Michael Hilbrant, Nathan Pettis, Walt Leamy, Jimmy Dunaway, Jr. and Rick Kidder.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
