Ruth V. McLendon

Ruth V. McLendon, 75, a retired accountant with Florida Department of Transportation, died Wednesday, November 29, in Tallahassee, FL.

McLendon was born June 5, 1931, in DeFuniak Springs, and was a longtime resident of Tallahassee. She was a member of Soul’s Port United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rosilyn and Charlie Blanck; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Patty McLendon, of Jacksonville, FL, and Roger and Kim McLendon, of Tallahassee; one sister, Margaret Cooper, of Crawfordville, FL. Nine grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service was held Saturday, December 2, 2006, at Soul’s Port United Pentecostal Church in Tallahassee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ruth McLendon Memorial Building Fund at Soul’s Port United Pentecostal Church.
