Susan Littrell Dykes, 48, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Oct. 7, 2006 in Holmes County, FL. She was born May 2, 1958 in New Castle, IN to Albert and Gloria Littrell.
Dykes had been a resident of Walton County for the past 17 years. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Southwide Baptist Church. She worked as a security officer. She loved bull riding and horses. She was an avid animal lover, having raised Arabian Horses. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
Dykes was predeceased by her mother, Gloria Littrell.
Dykes is survived by her father, Albert Littrell, of Basin Bayou, FL; one son, Richard Albert Hulett, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one daughter, Jennifer Sue Gess and husband, James, of DeFuniak Springs; one brother, Jeff Littrell, of DeFuniak Springs; one sister, Cindy Brown and husband, Jeff, of DeFuniak Springs, and also survived by two grandchildren, Michael Hulett and Dustin Dean Gyess.
Memorial services were conducted Monday, Oct. 15, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Rev. Douglass Hogg officiating.
Memorialization was by cremation.
