Tracy “Tiger” Lawrence Laird, age 41, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Dec. 2, 2006 in DeFuniak Springs. He was born Aug. 17, 1965 in Walton County, FL, to Charles and Ruby Cosson Laird.
Laird had been a lifelong resident of DeFuniak Springs. He was Presbyterian by faith. He worked as a Stunt Man; he owned and operated his own Stunt Team, Tigers Precession Stunt Team. He did 13 motion pictures, hundreds of live shows and two world record stunts. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a very loving person, who had a great sense of humor. He was a man of his word; he was a handful but the greatest husband and father. He had great intentions and dreams for his family and it is in the family’s hands how to carry the dreams forward.
Laird is predeceased by his grandparents, C. J. and Estelle Laird, and Aldon and Dollie Cosson, special uncle, Lewis Eugene Laird, and his mother-in-law, Olga Kaminsky.
Laird is survived by his father and mother, Ronald and Ruby Laird, of Eucheanna, his wife, Anne Laird, and son, Kyle C. Laird, both of DeFuniak Springs; three brothers, Terry Williams and wife, Lisa, of Baton Rouge, LA, Charles Stephen Laird, of Eucheanna, and Tony Douglas Burgess, of Homa, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held from 10- 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Coty.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
Burial will follow in Euchee Valley Cemetery.
