Wallace Renc, Jr.

Mr. Wallace Renc Jr., age 76, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, passed away April 15, 2008. He was born November 14, 1931, in New York City, New York, to Wallace and Eva Pocze Renc, Sr.

Mr. Renc had been a resident of Santa Rosa Beach. He was Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Rita’s Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era, serving his country in the United States Air Force with over 20 years of service as an Airplane Pilot, having received two Distinguished Flying Crosses. He also served as a Helicopter Pilot, his passion was flying.

Mr. Renc was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Renc is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Lillian R. Renc of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, one son Wallace Renc II of Freeport, Florida, two daughters Robin A. Renc of Carrabelle, Florida, and Dr. Susan M. Walker of Athens, Georgia, four grandchildren Stewart, Cathy, Mark and Christina.

Visitation services will be conducted at 9:00-10:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at St. Rita Catholic Church; 135 Moll Drive, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32439.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2008, at St. Rita Catholic Church, with Father Tom Collins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gulf Cemetery, with military honors.
