Walter Beasley

Walter “George” Beasley, 36, of Coffee Springs, AL passed away Aug. 4, 2006, in DeFuniak Springs, FL. He was born Dec. 5, 1969 in Hollywood, FL to Walter and Mary Noonan Beasley.

Beasley had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs most of his life. He was Baptist by faith. He worked as a carpenter for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Beasley was predeceased by his niece, Chelsey Sword.

Beasley is survived by father and mother, Walter and Mary Beasley, of DeFuniak Springs, FL; Julie J. Peacock of Coffee Springs, AL; three daughters, Brittney J. Beasley, of DeFuniak Springs, Lillian B. Beasley, and Gracie Mae Beasley, both of Coffee Springs; one brother, David Cook and wife, Mary, of DeFuniak Springs; four sisters, Theresa P. Carroll, of Davie, FL, Sheera E. Salustiana, of Las Vegas, NV, Kathrine M. Dickey and husband, Craig, of Yukon, OK, and Jennifer L. Standland and husband, Stan, of DeFuniak Springs; one grandson, Keegan Beasley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special family, Nancy Cannady, Leslie Sword, Tommy Fortier, John Wesley Peacock, and Bret Meyers.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Reverends Barrett Glover and Joel Glenn officiating.

Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery.
