Walton County Heritage Museum

Open Tuesday - Saturday
from 1:00 until 4:00 PM
and by Appointment

The Walton County Heritage Museum is located in the Historic District of DeFuniak Springs on the circle around Lake DeFuniak.

From Hwy.90, follow signs to the Historic District of DeFuniak Springs. At the 7th Street traffic light, turn (right if coming from the west or left if coming from the east) and go south toward Baldwin Avenue. Cross the railroad tracks and turn right on Circle Drive. The Museum will be the first building on the right beyond the caboose.

From I-10, head north on Hwy. 331 to DeFuniak Springs. Turn right at the 5th traffic light onto Live Oak Avenue. Turn left at the 2nd stop sign onto Circle Drive. Follow the circle for a short distance. The Museum will be on your left. If you pass the bright red caboose, you have gone too far!
