Andrew Clayton Hall

Mr. Andrew Clayton Hall, age 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 28, 2015. He was born October 21, 1923 in Walton County, Florida to Andrew “Dutch” and Martha Ada Riles Hall.

Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Walton County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII serving his country in the United States Army, as a Staff Sergeant, where he served in North Africa, Italy, Germany, and France where he lost his brother Victor. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather. Family was always first in his life and he was known for having a very big heart. He worked with Civil Service at Eglin Air Force Base over 20 years before retiring. He also had worked in farming all of his life, and he was a very talented gardener. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making people laugh, and watching his purple Martins fly.

Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charles Victor Hall; three sisters Faye Thorn, Eula Thorn and Una Vae Geoghaghan, and one great granddaughter Dori Ann Neale.

Mr. Hall is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Mary Hall of DeFuniak Springs, two sons Clifton and wife Monique of Laurel Hill and Charles Hall and wife Deborah of Paxton; one daughter Ann Hall and husband James of DeFuniak Springs; one brother Delmus Hall and wife Bernice of Pensacola; 9 grandchildren Cindy Neale and husband Rob, Candy Bodie, Jamie Hall and wife Heather, Jody Hall, Luke Hall, Danielle Rilee, Clay Hall, Brad Hall and Jana Currid and husband Phillip; 15 great grandchildren Seth and wife Katie, A.J. and fiancé Jessie, Bethany, Morgan, Dalton, Garrett, Meredith, Adam, Will, Billie, Ashlyn and Alyssa, Makena, Chelsey, Trey, and one great -great granddaughter Hazel Mae.

Visitation services will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, March 30, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Reverends Todd Camp and Joel Glenn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Hall, Jody Hall, Dalton Bodie, Garrett Bodie, Adam Hall, Will Hall, Rob Neale, Seth Neale and A.J. Neale.

Floral arrangements are being accepted or donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at PO BOX 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery.
