Arlee B. Wooten

Arlee B. Wooten, 96, of the Glendale community passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006, in Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 21, 1909 in Walton County, in the home he lived in all of his life. He was the son of John William and Bura Ida Laird Wooten. He was engaged in the farming industry and was a member of Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karina Odom Wooten, in 2004.

Among those surviving Arlee B. Wooten are special friends, Bill Green, J.W. Adkison, Pat Carter and Jerry Slay, all of DeFuniak Springs, and Cordosia Miller, of Glendale, and many other friends and acquaintances.

Pallbearers were Earl Chancey, Tom Anderson, Buddy Carter, J.W. Adkison, Jerry Slay, Kenneth Pridgen, Henry Cortez Wooten and Bill Laird.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 1, 2006, in Jerry Evans Chapel with Reverend Jack Walchenbach officiating. Burial followed in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
