Audrey Gail Rushing Sherman

Audrey Gail Rushing Sherman, 52, of Daleville, AL, passed away the day before her birthday in an Enterprise healthcare facility. She was born October 3, 1953 in DeFuniak Springs, FL, the daughter of Thedwell and Elma Francine Prescott Rushing. She was a veteran of the United States Army, where she served as an E6 Army recruiter.

Among survivors are her husband, Larry Sherman, of Daleville; her son, Senior Airman Alan Null and wife, Amanda, of Elmandorf AFB, AK; her daughters, Michelle Pangallo, of San Antonio, TX, Sheryl Chase and husband, Lynn, of Hartford, AL, Nicole Horras and husband, Tom, of Oviedo, FL, and Erin Zawistowski, of Florida; her brothers, Glen Rushing and wife, Consuelo, of Florida, Roger Rushing and wife, Judy, of DeFuniak Springs, Edgar Rushing, of Ponce de Leon, FL, Kenneth Rushing and wife, Susan, of Cerritos, CA, Randall Rushing and wife, Lisa, of Madison, AL; her sister, Beverly Whatley and husband, Ron, of Ponce de Leon; her brothers-in-law, Gary Margerum and wife, Lori, of Nunda, NY, Brian Margerum and wife, Annette, of Pensacola, Kevin Margerum and wife, Judy, of Richmond, VA; her sisters-in-law, Cynthia Young and Sandra Young, and her mother-in-law, Marie Louise Young, all of Castile, NY. Her grandchildren, Arienna, Justice, Nathanial, Jessee James, and Conner. Numerous nieces and nephews, also survive.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 5, 2006, in Jerry Evans Chapel, with Brother Frank Weber officiating. Burial followed in Red Bay Cemetery.
