Mrs. Barbara Jordan, age 65, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away January 29, 2008. She was born October 6, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio.
Mrs. Jordan was a resident of DeFuniak Springs for the past 23 years moving from Terre Haute, Indiana. She was Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother of 7, grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 10.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by her sons John Gess Jr., David Bartlett Sr. and wife Heather, Jimmy Gess and wife Jennifer all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Alan Bartlett and Nathan Bartlett both of Terre Haute, Indiana; two daughters Rebecca Brake and fianc Robert Lingg Jr. and Christina Troublefield all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at 6:00~8:00 PM, Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 4, 2008 at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Reverend Cecil Pinner officiating.
Those asked to serve as pallbearers are as follows John Gess, John Gess III, Jimmy Gess, David Bartlett, Joshua Bartlett and Robert Lingg, Jr.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
