Cameron Michael Lund

Cameron Michael Lund, 18, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away Feb. 19, 2006. He was born March 6, 1987
in Ft. Walton Beach, FL., to Darrick and Robbie Spence Lund and his brother Dillon.

Cameron was a life long resident of Walton County, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Southwide Baptist Church.

He graduated from Walton High School in 2005. He was a member of the Hall of Fame at Walton High School, and was homecoming king in 2005. He lettered in golf, soccer, basketball, and tennis. He was a member of the Key Club. He was chosen as shipmate for two years and captain by the Anchor Club.

He was presently attending Okaloosa Walton College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and surfing. He also played the guitar in a band having placed in two talent shows. He enjoyed being with his friends and he was an avid Gator fan. He was very involved with the community, and he was very civic minded. He was never without a smile.

Cameron was predeceased by his paternal grandfather John Lund Jr. Cameron is survived by his father and mother, Darrick and Robbie Lund, of DeFuniak Springs; brother Dillon Lund, of DeFuniak Springs; maternal grandparents, Delbert Spence and wife, Gwen, of DeFuniak Springs, and Betty M. Spence, of DeFuniak Springs; paternal grandmother, Mary Marquardt and husband, Richard, of Pensacola, FL., and by his girlfriend of five years, Courtney Miller, of DeFuniak Springs. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday Feb. 22, 2006, at First Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs, with Rev. Douglas Hogg officiating.

Burial followed in the Magnolia Cemetery.
