Clyde Mack Sadler

Clyde Mack Sadler, 71, passed away Jan. 21, 2006 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, FL. He was born April 10, 1934 to L.S. and Evie Ragans Sadler.

Sadler had been a resident of Walton County for over 40 years. He was Baptist by faith and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving his country in the United States Air Force, with over 13 years of service. He worked as an aircraft mechanic with Fairchild-Hiller for over 26 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling and playing music.

Steve Knowles and wife, Susan, of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren, Vanessa Peters, Brianne Gregor and husband, Gary, Lacey Bigger, Aaron and Zack Sadler, Kenny Shiver and wife, Kim, Lorri Mata and husband, Gill, and Melissa Cruise and husband, Tom, and also seven great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006 at New Harmony Baptist Church, with Brother Raymond Williams and Brother Garry Windstead officiating.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers were Eric Broadway, Mark Bell, Carlton Strickland, Steve Poole, Wayne Poole, and Jimmy Norris. Honorary pallbearers were Al Adams, Jerry Broadway, Walt Bell, and Chester Wilkerson.

Burial followed in the Crowder Chapel Cemetery with military honors at graveside.
