Dan Louis Livingston, 81, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away on April 7, 2006. He was born on May 17, 1924 in Lineville, AL to A.W. and Annie Lucille Wood Livingston.
Livingston had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs for over 30 years. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Argyle Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII serving his country in the U.S. Navy. Livingston worked for Livendco Vending Company for over 20 years before retiring and also worked as a building contractor, building homes for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Livingston is preceded in death by his father and mother, and his wife, Lucille Livingston, Also preceded by three brothers, three sisters, and one grandson.
Livingston is survived by three daughters, Brenda and husband, Jimmy Ruthven, of Panama City, FL, Diana Chapman, of Pensacola, FL and Margaret Spraggins of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Livingston is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was conducted Monday, April 10, 2006, at Clary-Glenn Funeral home, with Rev. James Burnham officiating.
Memorialization was by cremation.
