Daniel G. McLean

Yellow Fever at Milton.

The Milton Courier of the 20th September says:–“It becomes our painful duty to chronicle the presence and prevalence of the Yellow Fever in the town of Milton. There have been some half dozen cases of the fever in which black vomit has ensued and death followed. We caution strangers to beware of visiting our town at present.”

The same number of the Courier chronicles the death of Daniel G. McLean of Walton County, who died of the epidemic on the 19th. Mr. McLean was formerly a representative in the Senate of this State from Walton.
