Dorothy Jean Shuler Martinec, 80, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away April 4, 2006, at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. She was born May 30, 1925 in Walton County, Florida to Gary and Ida Henderson Shuler.
Martinec was a life long resident of Walton County. She was protestant by faith and a member of the Glendale Presbyterian Church.
Martinec was predeceased by her father, mother and husband, William E. Martinec.
Martinec is survived by her son, William G. Martinec and wife, Constance, of Panama City, FL; daughter, Patricia M. Cebollero, of DeFuniak Springs; sister, Thelma Baker, of DeFuniak Springs; grandchildren, Jonathan Cebollero and wife, Lori, of Layton, UT, David Cebollero and wife, Amy, of Denver, CO., Emilee Collangelo and husband, Andrew of Clermont, FL, and William C. Martinec, of Panama City, FL; great-grandchildren, Aubri, Karsten, McKall Jean and Jackson Cebollero, of Layton, UT, Graycee and Ayva Carol Cebollero, of Denver, Colorado, Gabriella, Andres and Hunter Colangelo, of Clermont, FL.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the Glendale Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Keith Andrews officiating.
Burial followed in the Glendale Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
