Edna Lynn Cuchens, 87, of Vulcan, MO, passed away Sept. 24, 2006, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, MO. She was born May 29, 1919 in Brazoria, TX, the daughter of the late James Albert Sr. and Velma Lee (Davis) Henderson.
Cuchens married Kyler W. Cuchens who preceded her in death.
She is survived by sons, Kyler W. “Bill” (Patricia) Cuchens, League City, TX, and Jerry Lynn Cuchens, Vulcan, MO; one daughter, Linda (Jerry) Jordan, Vulcan, MO, and seven grandchildren, Beth Cuchens, William Edward Cuchens, Stephen Edge, Deborah Edge, Gregory Cuchens, Daniel Cuchens, and Christina Buhrmeister.
Cuchens was [preceded] in death by one brother, James Albert Henderson, and one sister, Jessie Lee Reynolds.
She had served her community as a cook and a server in the Freeport school system and was a member of the Freeport Assembly of God Church in Freeport.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Buddy Manning officiating.
Burial followed in the Hatcher cemetery in Freeport, FL.
