Mr. Ervin H. Yearwood, age 53, owner and operator of Park Way Drive In, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, the result of an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Toccoa, Georgia, but had resided here for the past eighteen years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday from the Comander Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Magnolia Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris E. Yearwood, DeFuniak Springs, two daughters, Mrs. Ann Davis, Gainesville, and Miss Martha Jane Yearwood, DeFuniak Springs, two sons, Mr. Ervin H. Yearwood, Jr., Copeland, Florida, and John Foster Yearwood, DeFuniak Springs, eight brothers, Mr. Arvile Yearwood, Mr. Grady Yearwood, Mr. Jake Yearwood, Mr. Homer Yearwood, and Mr. Terrell Yearwood, all of Toccoa, Georgia, Mr. Jasper Yearwood, Atlanta, Ga., and Mr. Sherman Yearwood and Mr. Glen Yearwood both of Hampton, Virginia, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Long, Toccoa, Georgia. There are two grandchildren.
