Eva Mae Brogden Adams, 101, a native of Gantt, AL and a resident of New Harmony, FL, in Walton County since 1921, departed this life, Oct. 24, 2006, in Crestview, FL. She was a long time member of New Harmony Baptist Church, and a homemaker her entire life.
Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Adams, and a son, Winford (Dick) Adams.
Adams survivors are a daughter, Lorea Weiss, of Mobile, AL; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Adams, of New Harmony; six grand-children, Darrell Adams and wife, Marilynn, Dewey Adams and wife, Lisa, all of New Harmony, Kathy Wilson and husband, Bob, of Mobile, AL, David Jones and wife, Brenda, of Destin, FL, Janell Usher and husband, Willis, of Niceville, FL, and Rev. Tony Meinhardt and wife, Tina, of Vinton, LA; ten great- grandchildren, Jessica Adams and Brittany Adams, Rob Wilson and wife, Heather, Melissa Parent and husband, Lance, Robbie Peppers, Trevor Schottroff, Loretta and Casey Jones, Clinton Usher and wife, Adrienne, Wes Usher and wife, Jennifer, and four great-great- grand-children.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Mark McClard and Rev. Tony Meinhardt officiating.
Burial followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
