Eva Myrle Parish

Eva Myrle Parish, 80, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Oct. 11, 2006 in Florala, AL. She was born June 15, 1926 in Samson, AL to Thomas and Mattie Spann Beck.

Parish had lived most of her life in Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Darlington Baptist Church. She loved playing the piano, and singing. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Parish was predeceased by her father and mother; her husband, Robert Wyatt Parish; one grandson, Shane Miller; two brothers, Thomas Beck Jr. and Walter Beck.

Parish is survived by her daughter, Francine Miller and husband, Ralph, of Darlington, FL; one sister-in-law, Gladys Carleton of Thomasville, AL, and grandsons, Adam and Nickolas Miller.

Funeral services were conducted, Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, with Revs. Frank McIntosh and Dan Mickle officiating.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers were James Graham, Wayne Smith, Willard Beck, Flynn Pert, Earl Chancey, and Jack Thomasson.

Burial followed in Darlington Baptist Church Cemetery.
