Floyd Suggs Jr., 79, of Freeport passed away Feb. 7, 2007 in Ft. Walton Beach. He was born on May 8, 1927 in Portland, FL, and was a lifelong resident. Howard was the son of Floyd and Alma Brown Suggs.
Suggs was an avid fisherman and hunter, who loved his children and grandchildren, and had a great desire to pass his wisdom and knowledge on to his loved ones.
Suggs was predeceased in death by his father and mother, and son, Gregory E. Suggs.
Suggs is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jacqueline Cauley Suggs; his children, Diane Beebe, of Alexandria, LA, Rhonda Suggs, of Freeport, FL, and Janet Sabela, of Freeport, FL; grandchildren, Todd Beebe, of Alexandria, LA, Melissa Smith of Alexandria, LA, Jason Beebe of Alexandria, LA, Nicklaus Borthwick, of Freeport, FL, Caleb Borthwick of Freeport, FL, Casey Fernandez, of Freeport, FL, Corey Fernandez, of Freeport, FL, and Cody Fernandez, of Freeport; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at Portland United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim White officiating.
Burial followed in Hatcher Cemetery.
