Frances Pricilla Wheeler

Mrs. Frances P. Wheeler, 96, of Freeport, died Wednesday night [April 28, 1965] at a local hospital after a long Illness.

She was a native of Coffee County, Alabama, a member of the North Side Missionary Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs and had resided in Freeport since 1960.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday [May 1, 1965] at the Black Creek Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenn Spence officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Comander Funeral Home of DeFuniak Springs directing.

Mrs. Wheeler is survived by a son, James W. Wheeler of Ponce de Leon; four daughters, Mrs. Cora Lee Bishop of Wausau, Mrs. Jane Simmons of Freeport, Mrs. Mary Frances Richards of DeFuniak Springs and Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons of Ponce de Leon; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
