Frank Commander, 83, of Sandy Springs, GA, died Sunday, January 1, 2006. In 1965, Frank joined the South Carolina Department of Education and retired in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Lois W. Commander; daughters, Carol Reynold, and Laura Kelly, both of Sandy Springs; sister, Doxie Storrs, of DeFuniak Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Donna and Mark Reynolds, and Frank and Matt Kelly, and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Century Pkwy., Suite 950, Atlanta, GA 30345.
