Fredrick LeGrande Caswell, 53, passed away April 3, 2006. He was born on Dec. 31, 1952 in DeFuniak Springs, FL to Wray Caswell and Tuble Adams Caswell.
Caswell had been a lifelong resident of Walton County. He enjoyed his friends and family and loved telling entertaining stories. He was a genius at fixing anything, and he spent most of his life helping people who could not afford to have things repaired. He also had a green thumb and enjoyed working in his yard.
Caswell is survived by one son, Christopher LeGrande Caswell and wife, Kristina; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Caswell, all of DeFuniak Springs; two sisters, Susan M Rau and husband, Richard, of Freeport, FL, and Glenda C. Peters and husband Jim, of Dothan, AL; and a special niece, Tammy J. Godwin and husband, Cory, of DeFuniak Springs. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kayla Caswell, Davian Lindsey and Jarek Lindsey.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 6, 2006, in the Chapel of Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 US Highway 20 East, Freeport, FL, with Cory Godwin giving the eulogy.
Burial followed in Hatcher Cemetery.
