Mr. George Leonard Campbell, age 67, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was born October 23, 1953, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to Dorsey Melvin Campbell and Mary Ellen Dailey Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. He was very proud for having won an award from Overnite Transportation for driving over 1,000,000 miles. He enjoyed playing hockey and building computers. He loved to have fun and tease others.
Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by his father and mother; his wife, Brenda Campbell; and brothers, Joey Campbell and Wesley Campbell.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his children; Joyce Coon and husband Brian, Phillip Campbell, and Jewels Campbell; four brothers; Francis Campbell and wife Maryann, Dale Campbell and wife Emma, Steve Campbell, and Gail Campbell and wife Kim; sister, Ruth Campbell and husband Gary; grandchildren; Natalie Coon and Montgomery Coon. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 25, 2021, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
