Mr. Glynn Alford, age 82, of DeFuniak Springs passed away February 19, 2008. He was born January 14, 1926 in Andalusia to Homer and Tinie Clark Alford.
Mr. Alford had been a resident of Walton County. He was Baptist by faith. He was a veteran of WWII serving his country in the United States Navy. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Monsanto.
Mr. Alford was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Alford is survived by his wife of 63 years Ruth M. Alford of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, two sons Ronald G. Alford and wife Janan of Broomfield, Colorado and Kevin R. Alford and wife Julie of Maggi Valley, North Carolina, one daughter Cathy R. Davis and husband Pat of Boerne, Texas, one brother Wendell Alford and wife Adileen of Birmingham, Alabama; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at the family residence.
