Inell Carroll Surguine

Mrs. Inell Carroll Surguine, 84, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away Nov 26, 2006 at Shoal Creek Rehabilitation Center in Crestview, FL. She was born Mar 23, 1922 in Birmingham, AL to John Robert and Curtie Ward Carroll.

Mrs. Surguine had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs for the past 22 years. She was a Methodist by faith and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Surguine was predeceased by her father and mother; three brothers, Ollen, Marvin and Hoyt Carroll; one sister, Pauline Linder; her husbands, Roy Delatte, William Fleming, Hugh Daniel and Lyle Surguine. Mrs. Surguine is survived by one daughter, Renee Delatte Cochran and husband, Kent, of DeFuniak Springs; one stepdaughter, Karen Surguine Davis and husband, Jerry, of Rolla, MO; one brother, Hershel Carroll and wife Florence of Auburn, AL; two grandsons, Kevin Cochran and wife Sharon of DeFuniak Springs and Kris Cochran of Smyrna, GA; granddaughter, Kelli Cochran Sacht and husband, Josh, of Watertown, MA; step-granddaughter, Kim Davis Day and husband, Ted, of Rolla, MO; one great-grandson, Justin Cochran of DeFuniak Springs; one step great-grandson, Bret Day of Rolla, MO, and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Cochran of DeFuniak Springs.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Nov 30, 2006 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel, and burial followed in Forest Hills Cemetery, Birmingham, AL.
