Ira J. O’Hara

Ira J. O’Hara, of DeFuniak Springs, died Thursday morning at his home.

He was a native of Phenix City, Ala., a retired merchant and had been residing in DeFuniak Springs the last 12 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Comander Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cary Richards officiating.

Mr. O’Hara is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alma O’Hara of DeFuniak Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Nobles of Chelmsford, Mass., and Mrs. Myrtle Clapper of Bracut, Mass.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Comander Funeral Home directing.
