Isabelle Cloud, 94, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, passed away Feb. 5, 2007, at Healthmark Regional Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1912 in Walton County, FL to Jesse and Margaret Johnson Cotton.
Cloud had been a lifelong resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church. She loved people, and one of her favorite past times was talking on WZEP Radio with “Art and Marty.” She was a very loving wife and a friend to all who knew her.
Cloud was predeceased by her father and mother; her husband, Lewis Cloud; four sisters, Idell Davis, Ruthie Nowling, Katheline Wood, Ibra Hutto; and 4 brothers, Jack, Russell, Bill and Aubrey Cotton.
Cloud is survived by her nieces, Odell Whiddon and husband, Frank, Margaret Howard and husband, Grover and Hilda Ballard and husband, Harry, nephews, Lee Hutto Jr. and Charles Hutto, all of DeFuniak Springs. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and two special great-great-great-nephews, Mason and Noah Laird, and also survived by her family at Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 at Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church, with the Revs. Richard Murray and Owen Smith officiating.
Burial followed in the Magnolia Cemetery.
