James B. Brannon

Mr. James B. Brannon, age 50, a resident of 607 Ewing Street, Samson, [Alabama], was found dead late Friday night at his service station. Mr. Brannon was a retired service man but had resided most of his life in Walton County.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday from the Glendale Baptist Church with Rev. R. M. McDaniel officiating. Interment followed in the Glendale Cemetery, with Comander Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Earl Brannon, Sampson, four daughters, Mrs. Janice Hartman, Martinsburg, West Virginia, Miss Rebecca Sue Brannon, Miss Mary Edna Brannon, and Miss Shelia Rena Brannon, all of Samson, three sons, James Brannon, John Austin Brannon, and Phillip Ray Brannon, all of Samson, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Peters, Glendale, and Mrs. Inez Adkinson of Freeport, and one grandchild.
