James F. Miller, age 84, Cluster Springs Community passed away March 28, 2008, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was born June 17, 1923, in Walton County, Florida. He was the son of James Bryant and Nevie Carolina Miller.
Mr. Miller has been a life-long resident of the Cluster Springs Community. He was Baptist by faith and a member of the Cluster Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by father and mother, his wife Inez Waldrop Miller and his brothers Norman Miller of Cluster Springs Community and Meddie Pete Miller of DeFuniak Springs, and his sisters Dorothy Anderson of Franklin, Tennessee, Leon Hazelwood of Boca Raton, Florida, Bula Mae Lassiter of Lockhart, Alabama and Iduma Richardson of the New Harmony Community.
Mr. Miller is survived by his two sons Terry Miller and wife Peggy and Joey Miller and wife Myra all of the Cluster Springs Community. Also survived by five grandchildren Tracy Newborn and husband Mike, Beth Thepchantee and husband Dang, Tara Hicks and husband Ronnie, Mark Miller and Michael Miller and nine great grandchildren, Bridget Newborn Loyed and husband Mike, Maegan Newborn, Kaleb Newborn, Hannah Thepchantee, Gillian Thepchantee, Levi Thepchantee, Morgan Hicks, Travis Hicks and Tyler Miller.
A time of visitation services will be held at 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Cluster Springs Baptist Church; 1133 County Highway 1084 DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32533.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Cluster Springs Baptist Church, with Reverend Tucker Aplin officiating. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Bob Bell, Danny Bell, J.B. Coon, Max Baxter, Andy Anderson and Robert Fondren.
Floral arrangements are being accepted. Burial will follow in the Cluster Springs Cemetery.
