James Michael Grizzard, 36, passed away Feb. 17, 2006. He was born Aug. 31, 1969 in Spalding County, GA, to Bonny and Jean Smith Grizzard.
Michael Grizzard had been a resident of Freeport and Destin area for the past eight years. He was Baptist by faith. He worked as a welder at the Freeport Shipyard. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a very special person and he will be loved and missed by many.
Michael Grizzard is survived by his father and mother, Bonny and Jean, of Freeport, FL; son, Deven Grizzard, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; daughter, Jade Grizzard, of Monticello, GA, brother, Howard Ray Grizzard and wife, Deidre, of Concord, GA; two sisters, Donna Grizzard, of Griffin, GA, and Summer Grizzard, of Freeport. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Toy Arnett officiating.
Memorialization was by cremation.
