James W. King

James W. King, 84, of Ponce de Leon, FL, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2006. He was born May 20, 1922 in Knox Hill, FL and was a lifelong resident of Walton and Holmes counties, before moving to Crestview in December 1996. He was employed by the Holmes County School Board, a member of the Airport Road Church of Christ and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Esther Lee King; daughters, Audrey Jones and husband, Lowell, of Milton, FL, and Mary Frances Jones and husband, Bobby, of Crestview, FL; grandchild, Robby Jones, of Tallahassee,
FL, and several nieces and nephew.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 15, in the chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Minister Kenneth Cook officiating. Burial followed in Euchee Valley Cemetery.
